Daniel E. Brickley
Daniel E. Brickley is a Partner at Winkler Kurtz, LLP, with a concentrated focus on matrimonial law. Known for his steadfast and compassionate approach, Daniel aims to help families cordially resolve their issues while always representing the best interests of his clients.

Outside of the firm, Daniel remains highly involved in the legal community. He is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. With a defined interest in social advocacy, Daniel is also a member of the Suffolk County Bar Associationβs LGBTQ Committee, as well as a proud member of both the Human Rights Campaign and the Lambda Legal Defense Fund.
In addition to his passion for matrimonial law, Daniel has a strong relationship with the Arts. He possesses an extensive background in media with a career that spanned television, digital, and print journalism. Daniel has also held memberships to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Smithsonian Institute, the Asia Society, and Museum of Modern Art.
Daniel is a graduate of New York University, with a Bachelorβs Degree in English and Classics. He received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2017 and the New Jersey State Bar in 2018. Daniel worked as an Associate Attorney, providing full service counsel for depository and non-depository financial institutions for two years before joining the team at Winkler Kurtz, LLP in 2019.
As a Long Island native, Daniel now splits his time between Manhattan and the North Shore, after settling down with his husband and pet pug, in his hometown on Long Islandβs East End in 2017.
